Trust and identity
Packstat shows a small number of identity signals so you can understand who is contributing to the shared gear database without reducing people to a mystery score.
Trusted
Earned automatically after at least 5 approved gear edits and 10 accepted weight measurements. Packstat may also award or revoke this status when necessary.
Established
Earned automatically after at least 25 approved gear edits and 50 accepted weight measurements. Established contributors may receive a streamlined moderation workflow, but their edits remain attributable and reviewable.
Moderator
Assigned by Packstat. Moderators can review proposed changes to canonical gear data. Moderator status is never earned automatically.
Packstat Pro
The Verified symbol can indicate a Packstat Pro account. Verified brand pages use the same symbol with a different color. It is separate from contributor trust.
Only the highest contributor trust level is shown. Trust can be suspended or revoked for abuse, manipulated contributions, repeated low-quality sourcing, or other behavior that undermines the shared database. Packstat does not publish internal administrative roles.
